Everyone knows that Maui is one of the best islands to view the Humpback Whales when they’re here with their babies in the winter months. They just LOVE the warm, protected waters off of Maui’s coast and seeing them is surely something you’ll remember for a lifetime!

The Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary is located in Kihei —just down the road from Kihei Kalama Village! The visitor center is open everyday and free to the public. It’s a great way to learn about the majestic creatures that grace us with their presence every winter and also enjoy them — even when they’re not here!
